Dig Into Archaeology: Presented by 4-H of Columbia-Greene Cooperative Extension

Tuesday – Friday, July 28 – 31 | 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Youth will discover how scientists study the past through artifacts, sites, and material evidence. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, youth learn how archaeological discoveries help us understand ancient cultures, daily life, and human history, while building curiosity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the past.

This program is suitable for children in grades 1-5.

Science on the Go: Dinosaurs!
Wednesday, July 29 | 10:30 a.m.

 

Step back in time to uncover the world of dinosaurs through fossils, hands-on activities and interactive discoveries about life long ago. Presented by the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum. For children ages 6-8. Registration not required.

Parents and caretakers are invited to enjoy the children’s room Wednesday mornings for a weekly playtime! Read stories, play with toys, make a craft, and spend time with other local families.

Saturdays starting May 30 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

Join our Children’s Library Associates, Michael and Tia, across the road at the Copake Hillsdale Farmers Market every Saturday beginning May 30th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for stories and crafts. All ages are welcome.
