We have two special new no-internet computer just for children! Our new bilingual early literacy station is a very generous gift from the  Friends of  Roeliff Jansen Community Library, and has 4000 activites in 70+ programs for ages 2-10. From ABCs & 123s to science, geography, stories, to making music and art, there’s something for everyone!






Want to build with Legos or play chess, Hungry, Hungry Hippo, Operation & more? Feelingg creative? No need to wait for a special day anymore! Just ask at the library circulation desk!

We’ll let you use a bin of Legos in the children’s room; build your creation, take a picture or ask us to display it for a few days, clean up the rest of the Legos and return them to the desk! If you want to play a game, we’ll let you choose it from the special game cupboard! And we have a small tote filled with crayons, markers, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks and much more…so art away!



New Early Literacy Site: A virtual calendar with   content that changes every day, giving families with   young children numerous daily activities and a story to read together.
