The Friends of Roeliff Jansen Community Library is a nonprofit community-driven organization whose primary purpose is to support the Library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer work.

Fundraising: we seek money for the Library to fund programs, services, infrastructure, and technology that are beyond the Library’s capacity.

Advocacy: we make the case for the increased understanding and support for the role of the Library in today’s society.

Volunteer Work: we expand the ability of the Library to offer programs and services.

The Friends always welcome new members! Anyone interested should stop by the library for more information.
