Free Museum Passes Available
The Friends of Roe Jan Library offers four free museum passes for use with the Clark, the Berkshire Museum, the Norman Rockwell and the Hancock Shaker Museums. Each pass offers two to four adult entrances, some child benefits and discounts on gift shops. The passes can be reserved or checked out at the Library for one day with a library card. For more information call 325 4101.
“Maggie and I used the Friend’s free pass on Sunday (1/29/2012) to see the Audubon exhibit at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield. With both hundreds of stuffed birds and the fabulous prints, the exhibit knocked our socks off. It is simply spectacular. I’m also ashamed to say that I had never visited this little jewel of a museum. Go. Now. And if you have children or grandchildren it is hard to find a more user-friendly museum anywhere.” – Ned Schneier

Mondays 8:00-9:30am – Yoga Conducted by Roberta Roll. Weekly yoga classes are suitable for beginners and more advanced students. $20 per class or $95 for a series of eight classes. A portion of the proceeds helps support Library programs.
First Tuesdays 10:00-11:30 am – Friends of the Roeliff Jansen Community Library Meeting, Community Room.
Second Tuesdays 7-9 pm – Roeliff Jansen Community Library Trustees Meeting, Community Room.
Second Saturdays – 10am-11am Dogs Love Books Join Ms. McCord and her canine companions, Tansy and Toast in the Children’s Room. Ms. McCord will read stories and kids can read to the dogs, too!
