Selections from Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Michelangelo Rossi, François Couperin Le Grand, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Palmboom studied at the famous Early Music department at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Holland where she obtained a Masters degree in Solo Performance and the First Prize with Greatest Distinction. Mariken has performed as a soloist and continuo player throughout Europe and in the United States, with such artists as Jos van Immerseel, Frans Bruggen, Jaap Schroder. She has resided in the Berkshires since 1997, where besides performing she teaches harpsichord and piano.</p>
