Serving Ancram, Copake, and Hillsdale, New York

How are we doing?

We are over 3/4 of the way there! Goal: $1,800,000
  Total to date: $1,406,180  (6/10/2008)

Some early funding has already come in:
(most of these pledges will come in over a five-year period)

*  Weir Stewart (former owner of Odyssey Farm) has pledged $200,000 toward the new library. The 1,300 SF children's area will be named in honor of his departed wife, Deborah Stewart. We have received many smaller donations in memory of Deborah, as well.

*  Joe Flood has pledged his well-drilling services, also in memory of Deborah Stewart.

*  Robert and Ursula Covino, owners of Shagbark Tree Farm in Copake, have pledged $100,000. The patio at the new library facility will be named in their honor.

*  The Friends of the Library has pledged $50,000 as an organization.

*  We have 100% participation among the library’s Board of Trustees, who have individually pledged over $50,000.

*  The Hudson River Bank and Trust Company Foundation has pledged $100,000.

*  The NYS Public Library Construction Grant Program has made an award of $110,000.

*  We have received an anonymous pledge of $100,000.

*  We have received another anonymous pledge of $25,000.
