The building of the Roeliff Jansen Community Library Association is to
be used primarily for Library programs conducted or sponsored by the Library and
by the Friends of the Roeliff Jansen Community Library. However, the Library building is
available for meetings by community groups at times when such meetings will not
conflict with regular Library hours or operation of Library sponsored programs.
No admission fee or required donation may be charged for any program.
A fee may be charged for the cost of material, but no portion of the fee may
accrue to the benefit of an organization or individual except for those programs
sponsored by the Library or the Friends.
A written application must be submitted to the Library Director
for each meeting or series of events at least two weeks in advance. Each
applicant must include the name, address and phone number of the individual
responsible for the meeting/event, name of group, purpose of the meeting,
contact person (if not the individual responsible), and waiver of liability
insurance for personal injury and property damage.
